Helping others always seems to help me
A few days ago a member of the boards I visit frequently (disciplerocks.com) sent me a pm after I made a post about what God has helped me overcome. They just emailed me to tell me what an inspiration my story was. Two days later, I have learned alot about this person, and amazingly for the first time in ALONG time it wasn’t just me listening to them, they actually asked me questions, and were interested in ME. the conversation was natural, unforced, and flowed from one topic to another without those awkward pauses I’m so used to. . He’s going through stuff I’ve gone through and over come and he’s doing things one day I hope to do, It just makes me smile. Knowing someone is out there enjoying getting to know me. It’s like a giant puzzle and all of the pieces are fitting together perfectly, right when i needed to be reminded myself that im not completely alone on this earth, someone comes along unexpectedly and helps me remember that God IS using me to help others, and teaching me so many other lessons along the way.
